Serving Our Clients and  the Community

Persistent rain couldn’t keep three generations of one of our Baird financial advising teams from participating in this year’s Walk4 Friendship. The walk raises funds to support The Friendship Circle located in West Bloomfield, Michigan, and is a non profit organization that provides assistance and support to 3,000 people with special needs and their families by providing recreational, social, educational and vocation programming.  This year's walk attracted some 4, 000 people and raised more than $200,000.

In addition to putting their foot to the pavement, The Rosenberg Group also served as a corporate sponsor of the event and presented the Exceptional Friendship Award honoring the top fund raising team.

Baird's core mission is to serve our clients and communities. From Shanghai, Frankfort and London to San Francisco, New York and here in Michigan, Baird employees headed to their community to make a difference.  Baird Gives Back is a  global company initiative providing each employee with two work days to volunteer at any nonprofit organization of their choice. Baird Birmingham chose two organizations this year both with a mission to help special needs children.
Team members took their talents to Variety-The Children's Charity by packing snack packs for underserved children in Pontiac, Michigan. Some 900 packs were assembled and will be provided to young children at the Walt Whitman Elementary School in Pontiac.  Since 1932, Variety-The Children's Charity has been helping kids by providing vital support and essential services to those with special needs.  Core programs provide assistance to underserved children with cognitive and/or physical challenges or who are victims of disadvantage or poverty and who are hungry.
